Where 2 Play

Having a look around the internet, so many sites promote online casinos willy-nilly. Boasting that they have found the best online casinos available, but not even having played at any of them!

At 2 Gamble, we have played at each and every online casino, tried each and every slot game, video poker game, table game and every other game that might be on offer! We even put their support channels through their paces, with "problems" that we may or may not have encountered.

 Here is what we found...

Baccarat

Baccarat Rules

The object of baccarat is to obtain a hand with a point total closest to 9. Aces count as one; 2 through 9 as their face value; tens and picture cards count as zero. If the value of the hand is a two-digit number, ignore the first digit. The last digit is the baccarat point value of the hand. For example: 7+6=13=3 and 4+6=10=0

Place your wager on the banker’s hand and/or on the player’s hand and/or on a tie. The player and the banker are then each dealt a two-card hand. In certain cases, a third card is dealt to the player or the banker or both (Third Card Rules). Cards are dealt from a shoe that holds 6 decks of cards. The decks are shuffled each round.

The player closest to 9, wins.

If you bet on the player and the player wins, you are paid 2 for 1 winnings on your bet.

If you bet on the banker and the banker wins, you are paid 2 for 1 minus 5% bank commission (vigorish).

If both the player’s hand and the banker’s hand have equal totals, the game result is a ‘tie’. If you have placed a bet on the ‘tie’ field, your payoff is 9 for 1. Non-tie bets are returned to you if a tie occurs.

Third Card Rules

The following baccarat rule chart governs when the player and/or the banker will automatically be dealt (i.e. “draws”) a third card in the baccarat game:

Player

Point Value of First Two Cards:
 0 – 1 – 2 - 3 – 4 – 5Draws a card.
 6 – 7 Stands.
8 – 9 “Natural hand”, no further draw.

If the player stands, then the banker hits on a total of 5 or less. If the player does hit then use the table below to determine if the banker hits or stands.

Banker

Point Value of First Two Cards: Draws when the player’s third card is:Does not draw when the player’s third card is:
 0 – 1 – 2
 Always draws a card.

Important note: If either the player and /or the Banker has a total of 8 or 9, they both stand. This Rule overrides all other rules.

BlackJack

The Rules of BlackJack

The object of Blackjack is for the total of your cards to be closer to 21 than the dealer’s cards, without exceeding 21. In Blackjack, aces count as either 1 or 11, face cards as 10, and number cards at their face value.

If you receive an ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards, you have Blackjack and win 1.5 times your bet (if your bet was $10, you receive $25). If the total value of your cards is closer to 21 than the dealer’s, you win your bet amount (if your bet was $10, you receive $20). If the total of your cards is more than 21, you “bust” and lose your bet. If you and the dealer have the same card total (17 and up) neither of you win and your bet is returned to you in a “push”. Blackjack beats a score of 21.

Blackjack usually follows the standard “Las Vegas Strip” rules, with the following exceptions:

  • After each round, used cards are returned to the deck and the deck is shuffled.
  • The player may not split a split hand.
  • Only one card is drawn to split aces.
  • The player may double after splitting.
  • The dealer will not check for Blackjack in any case.
  • If the player doubles and the dealer's first card is of value 11 (ACE), and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player loses both his bets. If the dealer’s first card is of value 10, and the dealer gets Blackjack, the player gets the Double bet back.

Split

If your first two cards have the same value, you may split them into two separate hands by placing a second bet equal to the original bet. You will then draw additional cards to each hand. You may draw as many cards as you like on each split hand, but if you split two aces, you receive only one additional card for each ace. If you receive an ace and a ten-value card in a split hand, it is considered 21 and not Blackjack.

Double

If, after you are dealt your first two cards, you think that the third card will allow you to beat the dealer’s hand, you can double your bet. The bet amount becomes twice the original (with the difference taken out of your balance), and you are dealt one more card.

Insurance

If the dealer shows an Ace in his initial hand, you are given a chance to insure your bet against him having a Blackjack. If you get Insurance, an amount equal to half your original bet is placed separately on the table. If the dealer does have Blackjack, you are paid 2 to 1 on your insurance. This way you do not lose your original bet (because you get the 2x half your original bet, plus the insurance amount back). If the dealer does not have Blackjack, you lose the insurance amount, even if you end up losing.

10 Card Charlie

It is theoretically possible for the player to draw 10 cards without going bust. In this case the player’s hand automatically wins, except when the dealer has Blackjack.

Craps

Craps Rules

The first roll in a Craps round is called the come out roll. If the dice total is 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10, then the point is established. A total of 2, 3, 7, 11, or 12 on the come out roll immediately ends the round. When the point has been established, an “ON” puck will be placed on the point. After the point is rolled, the dice will be rolled continuously until the same point is rolled again, or a 7 is rolled.

Pass Line Bets

The pass line bet is placed on the pass line before the come out roll. If a 7 or an 11 is rolled, you win and the round is done. If a 2, 3, or 12 is rolled, it is craps and you lose. Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10) becomes the point. You win the pass line bet if the point is rolled before a 7. You lose the pass line bet if a 7 is rolled before the point. A winning pass line bet pays even money (1:1).

Don’t Pass Line Bets

A don’t pass line bet is the opposite of a pass line bet, and is placed on the “Don’t Pass Bar” before the come out roll. In a don’t pass line bet, you are betting that a 7 will be rolled before the point. You win on the come out roll with craps (2 or 3), and on any other roll with a 7. If the come out roll is a 12, a don’t pass line bet is returned to you in a push. You lose on the come out roll if it is either a 7 or an 11, and on any other roll if it is the point.

A winning don’t pass line bet pays even money (1:1).

Come Bets

To place a come bet, put your chips in the box labeled Come. You win even money if the next roll is either a 7 or an 11. You lose if the next roll is craps (2, 3, or 12). If the shooter rolls a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, then that number becomes the come point, and the come bet is moved from the “COME” bar to the box corresponding to the come point. If the shooter rolls the come point again before rolling a 7, you win the bet. If a 7 is rolled first, you lose the bet. The come bet pays even money (1:1).

Don’t Come Bets

A don’t come bet is the opposite of a come bet. It is placed after the come out roll in the “Don’t Come Bar” on the craps table. If the shooter rolls a 3 or a 2, the don’t come bet wins. If the shooter rolls a 7 or an 11, the don’t come bet loses. If the shooter rolls a 12, the bet will be returned to the player in a push.

If the roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, that number becomes the “don’t come point,” and the don’t come bet is moved from the “Don’t Come Bar” to the bar in the upper left corner of the box corresponding to the don’t come point. Once the don’t come point is established, don’t come bets win even money (1 to 1) if a 7 is rolled, and lose if the don’t come point is rolled.

Odds Bets

An odds bet is a backup bet on a pass, don’t pass, come, and don’t come bet. Your maximum bet is three times your original bet.

Pass odds and come odds pay 2:1 on a roll of a 4 or a 10, 3:2 on a roll of a 5 or a 9, and 6:5 on a roll of a 6 or an 8. Don’t pass odds pay 1:2 on a roll of a 4 or a 10, 2:3 on a roll of a 5 or a 9, and 5:6 on a roll of a 6 or an 8.

Unlike original pass, don’t pass, come and don’t come bets, unresolved odds bets can be removed from the table during play.

Pass Line Odds Bets

Place a pass line odds bet by clicking on the craps table outside of the “PASS LINE” bar, under your original pass line bet. A winning pass line odds bet pays true odds: 2:1 on a roll of a 4 or a 10, 3:2 on a roll of a 5 or a 9, and 6:5 on a roll of a 6 or an 8.

Don’t Pass Line Odds Bets

Place a don’t pass line odds bet by clicking on the right side of your original bet in the “Don’t Pass Bar”, exactly on the 6x6 dice image. A winning don’t pass line odds bet pays true odds: 1:2 on a roll of a 4 or a 10, 2:3 on a roll of a 5 or a 9, and 5:6 on a roll of a 6 or an 8.

Come and Don’t Come Odds Bets

Come and don’t come odds bets are placed beneath the come and don’t come bets, after they have been moved to the point’s box.

A winning come odds bet pays: 2:1 on a roll of a 4 or a 10, 3:2 on a roll of a 5 or a 9, and 6:5 on a roll of a 6 or an 8.

A winning don’t come odds bet pays: 1:2 on a roll of a 4 or a 10, 2:3 on a roll of a 5 or a 9, and 5:6 on a roll of a 6 or an 8.

Field Bets

A field bet bets that the next roll of the dice will be a 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12. To place a field bet, place your chips on the Field bar. If the shooter rolls a 2 or a 12, you get paid double your initial bet (2:1). If a 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11 comes up, you get paid even money (1:1). You lose the bet if a 5, 6, 7, or 8 is rolled.

Big 6 and Big 8 Bets

Place your chips in the box marked Big 6 or Big 8. If the number you select is rolled before a 7, you win even money (1:1).

Place Win Bets

Place win bets are made on the following dice totals: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. Place your chips in the box underneath these numbers. You are allowed to make place bets at any time, but the place win bet is off during the come-out roll. You win if the shooter rolls your number before a seven. The payouts depend on the number you bet on:

Number
Payout:
 6 and 8  7:6
 5 and 9  7:5
 4 and 10  9:5

Place Lose Bets

Place lose bets are just like place win bets, except you are paid if the shooter rolls a seven before the number you bet on. Place your chips in the box above these numbers. The payouts depend on the number you bet on:

Number
Payout:
 6 and 8  4:5
 5 and 9  5:8
 4 and 10  5:11

Buy Bets

A buy bet is the same as a place bet with the exception being the payout. Buy bets are off during the come out roll. To distinguish the buy bet from a come bet, the buy bet is labeled with a “BUY” marker. When winning a Buy bet, a 5% commission (vigorish) is charged. Your winnings are paid at true odds: 6:5 on numbers 6 and 8, 3:2 on numbers 5 and 9, and 2:1 on numbers 4 and 10.

Lay Bets

A lay bet is the opposite of a buy bet. A lay bet is labeled with a “LAY” marker. It bets that a 7 will be rolled before a 4, 6, 8, 9, or 10. It is a bet against the dice, which means you win if a 7 is rolled before the number you selected. When winning the Lay bet, a 5% commission (vigorish) is charged. Lay bet winnings are paid at true odds: 5:6 on numbers 6 and 8, 2:3 on numbers 5 and 9, and 1:2 on numbers 4 and 10.

Any 7 Bets

Place your chips in the area marked “Seven”. You win this bet if a 7 is rolled next.

This bet pays 4:1.

Any 11 Bets

Place your chips in the box with the two dice that add up to 11. You win this bet if an 11 is rolled next. If an 11 is rolled, you win 15:1.

Any Craps Bets

In any craps bet, you win if one of the craps numbers (2, 3, or 12) is rolled next. The any craps bet is placed in the “Any Craps” box.

This bet pays 7:1.

C & E Bets

The letters C and E represent two different bets:

C bet: This is the same as placing a bet in the “Any Craps” betting area. Click on the letter C to place your chips in the “Any Craps” betting area.

E bet: This is the same as placing an Any 11 bet. Click on the letter E to place your chips in the “Any 11” betting area.

Horn Bets

Place your chips in the box where the two dice add up to 2, 3, 11, or 12. The horn bet wins if the shooter rolls a 2, 3, 11 or 12 next. A winning horn bet pays 15:1 on the numbers 3 and 11 and 30:1 on numbers 2 and 12.

Hard way Bets

A hard way bet bets that the shooter will roll a 4, 6, 8, or 10 as doubles (2+2, 3+3, 4+4, or 5+5) before rolling a 7. The hard way bet is placed in the box on the craps table that contains the two dice that correspond to the total of the doubles. Rolling a number by doubles is said to be rolling the number “the hard way.” An example is rolling a 4 with a 2 and a 2. An example of an easy way is rolling a 4 with a 3 and a 1. A winning hard way bet pays 7:1 on the numbers 4 and 10 and 9:1 on the numbers 6 and 8.

Roulette

Roulette Rules

There are many different ways to place roulette bets in Roulette. Each bet covers a different set of numbers and has a different distribution. The payouts for all bets are listed in the "Winnings Table" below.

Straight Up

You can bet on any number, including 0, by placing the chip on the center of a number. The maximum bet for this wager is indicated on the Roulette table.

Split Bet

You can bet on two numbers by placing a chip on the line that divides the two numbers. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by two.

Street Bet

To bet on a row of three numbers (a street), place a chip on the boundary line of the roulette table, at the end of the corresponding row. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by three.

Corner Bet

You can bet on four numbers by placing chips at the corner where the four numbers meet. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by four.

Four Bet

You can bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3 by placing your chip on the boundary line, where the line between 0 and the first row intersects it. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by four.

Line Bet

You can bet on two street bets (i.e., the six different numbers in two rows of three numbers), by placing your chip on the boundary line of the roulette table where the line dividing the two rows intersects it. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by six.

Column Bet

There are three boxes labelled "2 to 1" at the bottom of each column of numbers. You can place bets for all numbers in a column by placing chip(s) in one of these boxes. If any of the numbers in the selected column is hit you get paid 2:1;  0 is a losing number. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by ten.

Dozen Bet

You can bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chip in one of the three boxes marked "1st 12," "2nd 12," or "3rd 12." If one of your 12 numbers is hit, you are paid 2:1; 0 is a losing number. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by ten.

Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets

You can place a bet in one of the boxes along the long side of the table that covers half of the numbers on the roulette table (excluding 0). Each box covers 18 numbers. You win even money (1 to 1) on all of these bets; 0 is a losing number. The maximum bet for this wager is the Straight Up bet maximum, multiplied by 20.

Minimum table bet

There is a minimum table bet, meaning that all your bets added together (your total bet), must equal at least the minimum value indicated on the table (see the Min sign).

Announces or Call Bets:

You can place Announces or Call Bets by selecting a chip and then clicking on the corresponding button:

Voisins de zero

This is a bet on all numbers of the "Voisins" arc: 22, 18, 29, 7, 28, 12, 35, 3, 26, 0, 32, 15, 19, 4, 21, 2, 25. These are all the numbers on almost a half of the Roulette wheel, including the zero. You need nine chips of your selected value. The chips are placed as follows: one split bet on each of the numbers 4/7, 12/15, 18/21, 19/22, 32/35, two chips on the triplet ("street bet") 0-2-3 and two chips on 25-29 ("corner bet"). Your winnings are as follows:

If winning number is one of these:     You will get paid thus:     Your true profit:

4, 7, 12, 15, 1, 19, 21, 22, 32, 35    17 units (17:1) + 1 chip    17 + 1 - 9 = 9 chips

0, 2, 3    22 units (11:1) + 2 chip     22 + 2 - 9 = 15 chips

25, 26, 28, 29    16 units (8:1) + 2 chips    16 + 2 - 9 = 9 chips

Tier

You place six chips to cover the numbers 27, 13, 36, 11, 30, 8, 23, 10, 5, 24, 16, 33. This is called the Tier arc on the Roulette board. One chip goes on each of the following splits: 5/8, 10/11, 13/16, 23/24, 27/30, 33/36. The true profit on this bet is: 17 + 1 - 6 = 12 chips. So the payout is 12:6 or 2:1.

Orphans

You bet on numbers 17, 34, 6, 1, 20, 14, 31, 9. This is called the Orphans arc on the Roulette board. You give five chips to the dealer, which are placed as follows: one straight on the number 1 and one split bet on every one of the numbers 6/9, 14/17, 17/ 20, 31/34. Note than number 17 participate in two splits (14/17 and 17/20), so:

If winning number is one of these:     You will get paid thus:     Your true profit:

1    35 chips (35:1) + 1 chip    35 + 1 - 5 = 31 chips

6, 9, 14, 20, 31, 34    17 chips (17:1) + 1 chips    17 + 1 - 5 = 13 chips

17    34 chips (17:1) + 2 chips    34 + 2 - 5 = 31 chips

Number & Neighbors

Bet on number and neighbouring numbers on the right and on the left of this number. This bet is played with five chips. For example, "8 and the neighbors" means that the player places a bet on five consecutive numbers 11-30-8-23-10 (8 is in the middle). The true payout is 35 + 1 - 5 = 31 chips.

Final bet

You bet on all of the numbers that have the same last number. For example, "final 5" means a bet on the numbers 5, 15, 25, 35. You need four chips, one straight bet on each number. If one of these numbers wins, you are paid regular Straight bet winning amount on that number. So your profit will be 35 + 1 - 5 chips = 31 chips.

Slot Machine Variants

Below is a brief explanation on every type of slot machine:

3-Reel Standard Slots – these are the most usual slot machines. You bet a certain amount, then spin the three reels and depending on the outcome of the spin, you either win or lose.

3-Reel Max Bet 2 Slots – these machines allow you to bet the maximum of two coins, not three as in Standard Slots.

Progressive Jackpot – a progressive jackpot means that a certain percentage of every bet goes into the progressive jackpot pool. You win the jackpot by obtaining a very high symbol combination, usually only when playing for maximum bet.

Bonus Game – machines that have a Bonus Game require you to obtain a special symbol combination, or collect certain symbols. When you do, you will enter a bonus round, with special prizes waiting for you. Please note that in some games you have to play for maximum bet to qualify for a bonus round.

3-Line and 5-Line Slot Machines – here you specify your bet per payline, and the paylines on which you bet. A payline is the line along which Your total bet is then line bet x number of lines selected. 3-Line Slots have 3 lines for you to choose between, and 5-Line slots have 5.

Multiline Slots – same as above, only these machines have more than 5 lines, usually 8 or 9.

3-Row and 5-Row Multispin Slots – this is the giant leap for slot machines. In multispin slots, after the first spin you choose which reels you want to hold, then spin the rest of the reels again. 3-row and 5-row mean you have 3 or 5 rows of reels, like in multiline video poker you have multiple hands.
